The Launching Pad Empowerment Center (LPEC) is a licensed sober living facility providing peer to peer support for recovering men, women and homeless veterans. We specialize in helping people rebuild their lives after drug, alcohol, or problem gambling treatment by providing sober living homes and a recovery-oriented system of care. LPEC is currently in the process of renovating an 18 room facility to provide an additional 36 beds to this at-risk population.
The support gained from living with other recovering addicts and alcoholics in a structured community has proven to be one of the most beneficial factors in preventing relapse. At The Empowerment Center, it is our goal to facilitate independent sober living skills by having our members’ work together to ensure each home is operated with the utmost integrity and respect. This approach used in conjunction with weekly house meetings, required 12-step meeting attendance, educational 12-step study and life skills groups that provide the support and accountability to those in early recovery.The Launching Pad program provides:
- Semi private rooms
- All bills paid
- Furnishings (including linens, towels, TV, internet, phones, free long distance)
- Washers & dryers in each facility
- Food
- Weekly life skills training
- Weekly step study
- 12-step meetings
- Introduction to meditation
- Successful, experienced sober staff
